Why those in Tradition are so convinced God lied to us is a puzzle difficult to put together. We rebel when we don't realize we rebel and when we realize it we act more like Judas than Peter.
So I admit, I missed the most profound reality of AL even if those in authority missed it as well. Just because we don't see God through our dim lens doesn't mean he isn't there.

So can a lay person confer dogma? Can a lay person confer doctrine? Can a lay person confer judgements of infallibility? The answer is no. Can a lay person rebuke the judgement of a bishop when it comes to matters of form versus unchangeable doctrine? No actually. The Sacraments are their appointed domain, period.
So it surprising that EWTN allows their apologists to bring forth so much chaos when it comes to the papacy.
I have, many times, called out crazy homilies and insane Eucharist ministers and lay people who are just too lazy to do it right. But Tim Staples is lately getting on my nerves.

Christopher West has shocked my sensibilities and contradicted Mary and Joseph's union. So is the purging of the JPII Institute a necessary strategy for God to undo the catastrophe of celibacy?

So I hear often, and painfully so, a defense of celibacy because marriage is all about sex.
I don’t think celibate priests arguing against priestly marriage because marriage is just a sexual relationship helps, in anyway their cause.
To claim that the sexual revolution hurt the celibate priesthood is dishonest, to claim that all men who are called to serve God and women, must be celibate is dishonest. Celibacy is a specific blessing for a celibate order and can’t be forced as a “job requirement” as all rational and faithful people understand this.

Jesus gave us a path, and the path of those who seem the most passionate about Jesus seemingly are refusing the path. It's the same old story misery loves company. Fraternal correction does not equal unforgiveness and a refusal to believe God did not appoint lay people as Popes. But when we live our lives with the gifts he gave us our prayer can effect change, drastic change.
So we grabbed onto sacramentlife.com as a primary home though still under the mantle of Pour in Spirit Ministry.
So listen in and share! Thanks!

Difference between superstition and the Sacraments. How does by the Bible alone fit in?
Superstition is driven by unease, tension and fear.
The Sacraments infuse peace, courage, resolve and healthy fear.
Superstition has nothing to do with the scapular, or the miraculous medal or vows. Yet, superstition is a hyper response to karma notions, self driven prophecy and old wives tales.
A small boy opened an umbrella in the house and the grandmother cried for days saying something horrible would happen. A girl walked under a ladder and her aunt went bonkers. A house was struck by lightning and the mom was gleeful that it would never happen again. That is superstition that removes God entirely. It makes the thing Ladder, Umbrella, Lightening the source. These tales are great for humor but too many people make these tales truth in association with Religion. They are not.

Psychology vs. Sacraments: Who is winning and why?
Psychology completely obliterates the priesthood. Why?
Catholic Radio more than Christian Radio has an underlying theme: personality disorders and mental disorders and a whole litany of other disorders are the talking points.
You know what God called those things? Spiritual affliction whether by the outside or the inside.
God never spoke of mental disorders, okay okay he was confused because psychology wasn’t invented yet, I get it.
It is the Job of the appointed priestly authority of a particular district to diagnosis spiritual not physical illness, yet the priesthood has gleefully skipped into the mental health field. This is juxtaposed to the mission of priests.
EWTN seems extremely comfortable with numerous psychology shows on its platform? Mother Angelica would never be proud of her network going into the realm of psychology versus the Sacraments.
If your son has an addiction and hates Christ in the presence of the Sacraments you got yourself a spiritual problem not a mental one.
But because a few nut jobs who screwed up the entirety of the Sacrament Life by acting crazy about deliverance, way back when, we now have priests looking like psychologist who are repulsed by the notion of deliverance….hows that workin out?
